Welcome to my blog

Hey everybody, Im happy to kick-off my online portfolio this very day. I will keep up this blog while I study Art and technology (ArT) at Aalborg university, and hopefully also in the future. The blog will document my personal/own activities and projects related to ArT.

Beside being interested in art and technology and the fusion between them (which ArT is all about), I also make electronic music. Im very interested in using computers as musical instruments and do all sorts of experiments. I refer to the stuff I do, musically, as "making music" just to keep things simple. In fact the stuff I do mostly deserves tags such as noise, ambient, drone, experimental... I could go on forever!!!!!...
The things I do, can´t be put into a box easily and thats how I want it to be.
I will also use this blog to frequently put out some of the "sound" stuff I do.

To celebrate the kick-off of my online portfolio I will share a piece of music I made during a stay in Berlin 2009 together with team 62 from Ærø Højskole.

As it went.....
I were drifting around the streets of inner Berlin and came just in time for a orchestral concert inside a church (I forgot the name of the church, sorry). I got permission to record the entire concert on my H4 zoom recorder. I like to record a lot of stuff, just in case I can use it later for something interesting.
By the time the stay in Berlin took place I listened to a lot of heavy drone music and felt i had to figure out how to create a intense, powerful and ethereal piece of drone music. The result is simple.. the piece is  a loop played over and over again while it´s being feed with gradual growing reverb and delay.
